Reed's first trip to the park

Yesterday my sister and I took our kids to the park next to the waterpark in Simpsonville. Reed had a blast playing on some of the equipment. His favorite was the baby swing. Then when Graham got home from work we let him go swimming for the first time in his little baby pool. Here are some of the pictures that I took yesterday:

Busy week

This past week has been a crazy one. We finally got settled back into the swing of things after going out of town, Reed has another tooth that came in and another one that is going to break through any day now, we celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary, and our friend Mark and Melissa had there baby (Congratulations guys, he is beautiful). I am looking forward to a calmer week. Of course that doesn't really exsist when you have a baby that is getting more active by the min. But that's okay because I wouldn't trade my life for anyhting in the world. I hope to have some pics of our trip up soon for everyone to see.

Back at home

Graham, Reed, and I are finally back home. We hated to say bye to everyone up north, but at the same time it feels good to be back home. Our travel back home was not the greatest. We drove From Cape Cod to the Providence airport which took about 2 hours. When we arrived at the airport I received a voicemail on my cell phone saying that our flight from Charlotte to Greenville had been canceled. The lady at the ticket counter said there was some mechanical problems with the plan so they had to ground it. They then told us that they rebooked our flight to go from Providence to Philly then from Philly to Greenville. Which would have been ok but we would have had a 3 hour layover and wouldn't arrive at GSP til around 8:30 when our other flight was supposed to arrive at 5:05. We told them that we couldn't do that because we had a small child and we didn't have enough food for him until then. So we ended up keeping the flight to Charlotte and when we arrived there US airways payed for a cab to take us to GSP. We ended up getting home at about 6:30 last night and after a good night sleep in our own bed we are all doing a lot better.
Over the past week Reed has learned so much. He is now saying mama (which I am thrilled about), he learned to pull himself up by holding on to things, he will wave to you if you tell him hello, and he is also cutting three more teeth. I am still so amazed at how fast babies learn stuff. I can't wait to see what he is going to learn this week. I have included a video of Reed being silly. It is Reed in his carseat and me and my mom were sitting next to him while we were going to Newport, RI. I hope yall enjoy.

Remembering Grandpa

Today we had a memorial service for Graham's grandfather. I got to meet his uncles and some of his other relatives. It was so nice to see family but I just wish it would have been under different circumstances. Reed has done a wonderful job keeping everybody happy. Tomorrow we travel to Providence, RI to see my mom and then we come back to the Cape tomorrow evening. We will then fly back home Sat.
