Hurricane Reed!!

Every morning I get Reed up for the day and we go downstairs to eat breakfast. After breakfast I put him in the living room and let him play with his toys while I do some chores. When I go into the living room after I am done he has usually created quite a mess.





The living room usually looks worse than this. There are sometimes when I can barely walk around the room without stepping on a toy!

My Big Boy!!!

Reed is now 17 months old and even though I still refer to him as my little baby he is becoming a toddler. He can now eat pretty much what ever we eat. I have taken him to Chick-Fil-A several times now and I can order him food there and not have to bring something with us. He now eats his food on a plate instead of me just putting it on his tray. Of course every now and then he will empty the food onto his tray and use the plate as a hat. We have also been working with him to use silver ware when he eats. He hasn't quite got the hang of it but he tries so hard to do it by himself. We have also quit carrying him every where because he needs to realize that we can't always carry him around. This has actually been a hard habitat to break. We are just so used to picking him up and going that sometimes we forget that Reed can walk. We let him go up the stairs in the house as well as down, which is really cute because he slides down on his butt, of course we are right there with him so he doesn't fall. Our next adventure is going to be switching his crib into a toddler bed. I don't know if I should be scared or happy!

Please excuse my messy blog. I am trying to make my blog more interesting so please bare with me.

Clowns

On Monday my sister and I took the kids the mall to see the clowns from the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus. At first they brought out Buttons who is a local clown then Dave and Sherry came out. Dave and Sherry were from Ringling Brothers and very entertaining. Me and Brandy were even laughing at all the silly stuff they were doing. All the kids had a blast and are now very exciting about going to the circus. We will be going on opening night which is February 4. I can't wait!!!

Football

One of Reed's christmas presents that Graham picked out was a New England Patriots football. Ever since he opened it all he wants to do is play football with his daddy. The sunday that the patriots played there last game Graham and Reed both had on there jerseys and were playing with the football. I had to take some pics of this because it was too cute!!

Christmas

On Christmas morning i was so excited I woke up at around 6:00 and couldn't go back to sleep. Finally at 7 I woke Graham up and we went and got Reed up to go see what Santa had brought him. We opened our stockings first. Then Sebastian opened his presents (yes our dog actually opened the presents). After that Graham and I helped Reed opened all his presents. Reed got so many presents from Santa and all the family. Graham got a new saw and I got a new camera.
Later that afternoon we wnet to my Aunt Susan's house to eat dinner and exchange more presents. All the kids had a blast!

Then that evening Jamie and Amy came over for dinner. They gave Reed a red coupe for Christmas.

I know I am a little late posting all my Christmas blogs but I have been extremely busy and this is the first time I have been able to set down in front of the computer for more than a couple of mins.

On the Tues. before Christmas Graham, Reed, and I went over to my dad's house to exchange presents with my sister's family and my dad. Theirs not really much to tell about it other than we ate, opened presents, and spent time with family. It might not sound like it but we had a great time.
