Busy Week

A lot has happened in the past week which is why I am so late posting this. Last Sunday Reed turned 18 months old. I can't believe that he is already 1 1/2. Before I know it his 2nd b-day will be here. On Monday I took him to the doctor for his 18 month well check. He is now 32 lbs. and 35 1/4 in. tall. Holy Cow! Just 3/4 in. more and he will be 3 ft. tall. This also explains why we had to buy him some more pants to get him through the rest of the winter. Poor Reed was starting to look like he was getting ready for a flood.

Last weekend we also took everything out of our dining room and turned it into Reed's temporary playroom. I don't know if I had posted this previously but we are adding a sun room off the back of the house which will be Reed's new playroom. We are just waiting on the homeowners association's approval. Once we get that construction begins. I wasn't going to do any kind of theme in his playroom until I went Monday to buy him a rug. I ended up buying this really cute rug that looks like a miniature football field. Then on Tuesday we were at toy r us and I found the cutest toy box. It is a huge football. So I guess it is official his playroom theme is going to be football. Graham is very happy with this.

Playtime

This morning Graham and I took Reed to the park. We have been wanting to take him for several weeks now but it has been raining or one of us has been sick. We were not able to stay long because as soon as we got their it got windy and cold and unfortunately I didn't have Reed dressed for this. We stayed long enough for him to swing and go down the slide a couple of times. Hopefully I will be able to take him back in the next couple of days.

The Circus!

I know this is a little late but I have been sick! I some how got a parasite. Graham and I are both convinced that I got salmonella poisoning from the salad bar at Ruby Tuesday's. So no more salad bars for me!

Last Wednesday we took Reed to the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus for the first time. He had so much fun watching all the performers. He especially loved the elephants. He had fun dancing and singing to the music. About half way through the show after each performance he started to clap and shout yeah! It was so cute! I have a feeling that going to the circus is going to become an annual thing.
